Not land surveying

TotalStationTech provides field construction layout coaching and consulting only. This is not land surveying, and TotalStationTech is not a licensed land surveying firm.

Construction layout — placing points from an approved plan for building purposes — does not require a survey license in most jurisdictions. Boundary surveys, legal descriptions, and land surveying services must be performed by a licensed land surveyor in your state.

If your project requires boundary determination, ALTA surveys, or any service requiring a licensed surveyor, please engage a licensed land surveying firm directly. Nothing on this Site should be interpreted as land surveying services or advice.

Not professional advice

Nothing on the Site is engineering, surveying, architectural, legal or other professional advice, and using the Site doesn't create a professional relationship with us. Always follow your local codes, standards and the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction.

Training and games

Our games and simulators, including Stake-Out and TriBrach, are practice tools. They don't replace manufacturer instructions, formal training, or supervised field experience with real equipment.
