Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of totalstationtech.com and the free apps, games and tools linked from it (together, the "Site"). The Site is operated by Any-Press LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Using the Site

You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its normal operation, try to access it by means other than the interfaces we provide, or use it in a way that violates any law or the rights of others.

2. Free tools

Many of our tools are offered free of charge, including CoordXY, QR-Point, PDF-Inspect, the TST Field Calculator, the CSV Converter, and our Stake-Out and TriBrach training games. We may change, suspend or discontinue any tool or feature at any time, with or without notice. We aren't liable to you or anyone else for any change, suspension or discontinuation.

3. Your content and files

Some tools let you upload or enter files and data, such as PDF drawings and point exports. You keep ownership of anything you provide. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use it, and for keeping your own backups. Unless a tool says otherwise, files are processed in your browser and aren't stored on our servers.

4. Verify results before you build

Our tools and games are aids, not authorities. Any output — coordinates, conversions, calculations, extracted data, QR labels or layout points — must be independently verified by a qualified professional before it is used for design, layout, fabrication, installation or construction. Please read our Disclaimer in full before relying on anything the Site produces.

5. Coaching and consulting

TotalStationTech provides field construction layout coaching and consulting only. This is not land surveying, and we are not a licensed land surveying firm. Boundary surveys, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys and other services requiring a licensed land surveyor must be performed by one in your state. Any coaching engagement is subject to the separate terms we agree with you in writing.

6. Accounts and paid features

If we offer accounts, memberships, gear or paid features in the future, extra terms covering pricing, billing, shipping and cancellation will apply and will be shown to you before you sign up.

7. Intellectual property

The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos and software, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or resell any part of the Site without our written permission, except as allowed by law.

8. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites and services, such as YouTube and BIM-Press.com. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, policies or practices.

9. No warranty

The Site and all tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Please also read our Disclaimer.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site won't exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [State], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
